  Look for correct capitalization, examen every capital to see if it is needed  
  Look for proper "S", make sure evrery ending "S" belongs  
  Look for words that should have an "S" on the end but don't  
  Look for proper periods and missing punctuation.  
  Look for proper use of any quotes as in "open, close", period.  
     
     
Read and Pronounce Out Loud
 
  Pronounce the "S" to make sure it is right  
  Is it the RIGHT word (don't assume, say it fully, aloud) .  
  Listen for tenses agreement  
     
Check Context
  Are my apostrophe correct for possessive .  
  Are my apostrophe correct for contractions.  
  Are my apostrophe correct for it's Vs its.
